There are basically 3 Families of Window Film - Dyed, Metallized and Dyed / Metallized combinations.

	Dyed Films are mostly used in the automotive market and are not generally used in homes or buildings due to their high heat absorption, low heat rejection and lack of color stability.
	Metallized Films are the most widely used films in the Residential and Commercial markets. They offer excellent heat rejection, acceptable heat absorption and total color stability. These films can range in appearance from highly reflective all the way down to invisible.
	Dyed / Metallized combinations are almost always used in commercial applications and are designed to achieve special colors or other appearance qualities.
