The New Warranty Work Order function is used when you need to create a Work Order for warranty purposes. You must first have an Estimate in place that contains the windows that need the warranty work. You go through all of the same steps you used in New Work Order but you get a slightly different screen.
Just put a checkmark on the far right of each line item that needs warranty work. You can even pick just 1 pane of the 5 panes in line item #1. Put your mouse pointer anywhere inside this line item and "right click" your mouse. The Split Line Items option opens and the following screen appears:
Put 1 in the Included space and 4 in the excluded space and click "Close". Your screen will look like this:
Notice you have an extra line item that contains 1 pane and the line item that used to say 5 panes now says 4 panes. Simply put a check in the far right box of the line item that says 1 pane and Print. |
