and I designed Flat Glass Pro. It is based on a simple Microsoft Access program
that I wrote in 1996 to allow me to do estimates on a laptop at the customer’s
home or office and print a professional estimate for them, right there on my
portable printer. I originally did it to cut down on the mounds of paperwork the
hand written estimates were generating. What I wasn’t prepared for was the
overwhelming response I got to the laptop and printer. Customer after customer
commented about how much more professional I appeared than any other
salesperson from any industry who had come into their home. So, not only
was I more efficient but, more importantly, I sold more jobs for more money. With
this software I know you will sell more too!! Flat Glass Pro is an estimating, presentation, material
optimizing and
information gathering tool written specifically for the tinting industry and is
available by calling 303-472-5365. It
allows you to enter and printout estimates on site at your customer’s
location. It will also track and report on virtually all of the information you
gather when doing a bid or estimate. It tracks all of your estimates by
customer, allows you to create work orders from them, tracks salespersons’ and
installers’ pay, how the customer heard about you and much more. The software is designed to be used simultaneously by multiple computers in the office so more than 1 person at a time can use the program. When your salespeople bring in their laptops they plug into the network, click a few buttons and send all of their info to all of the other computers on the system. The laptops also get updated with any info that the other computers may have had. It’s that simple. You are always up to date.
